Where a character appears
Every time you mention a character in your manuscript, it shows up automatically on their profile. No manual tracking required.
It’s easy to lose track of exactly which chapters a character has actually shown up in, especially in a longer manuscript. Endra Studio tracks it for you.
How appearances are tracked
Whenever you mention a character by typing @ in the editor, that document is automatically added to the list of appearances on the character’s own canvas. You don’t tag anything manually. It’s a side effect of writing the way you already would.
Why this is useful
Before a rewrite or a continuity pass, a character’s appearance list is a fast way to answer “does this character actually show up enough to justify their subplot?” or “which chapters do I need to check if I change something about them early on?” without rereading the whole manuscript.
