Where an asset is used
See every document an image appears in before you archive or replace it.
Before removing or replacing an image, it helps to know everywhere it’s currently being used.
Checking usage
Open any asset’s detail page from the asset library to see a list of everywhere it appears: a character avatar, a specific chapter, or a note. This updates automatically as you insert or remove the image elsewhere, so the list always reflects current usage.
Why this matters before archiving
Archiving an asset doesn’t remove it from documents that already reference it, but checking usage first means you won’t be surprised by where an image was quietly doing work. That’s especially useful for a character avatar that’s also been reused elsewhere.
